I am writing this letter to formally lodge a complaint regarding a spring-tooth cultivator that I purchased from your agricultural machinery outlet in London on April 2nd, 2024. This specific model was sold with a spare set of semi-rigid plowshares and a scarifier.
However, upon attempting to operate the machinery, I discovered significant technical issues that were not apparent at the time of purchase. Most notably, the spherical roller bearing within the eccentric mechanism is clearly damaged. Furthermore, the threaded connections which should be secured with a fitted bolt on the tapered pin are completely missing from the assembly. These defects make the cultivator entirely unfit for its intended purpose in the field.
To resolve this matter, I request that you either send a qualified technician to replace the damaged bearing and missing bolts or provide a replacement unit immediately. I have included a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. I trust that you will handle this matter with the urgency it deserves, as my farming schedule is currently delayed.
