I knew a young lad, early '90s, in mid-school, who was telling me they were teaching the history of slavery. He talked. I listened. He never mentioned the Africans selling their own people. I went to the library. I copied page after page from several "reliable sources". He took those to school. He asked his teacher why he hadn't taught this. Give the teacher credit. He said only, "We don't teach that part of the history anymore." And that young lad was suspended for three days." ahh america
